Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moore and Mrs. Tiara Sutton called at the Crumley Funeral Home Hillsboro Saturday afternoon because of the death of their brother, JG PYLE. Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Lillian Pressler attended the funeral services. Others from this community who attended were Mrs. Charles Grimm and Mrs. Lula Neideffer. - typed by kbz

Hillsboro - James G. Pyle, 79, retired Fountain County farmer, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday at his home in the New Liberty neighborhood near Hillsboro. He was a surgical patient at the Lakeview Hospital in Danville in January. Born July 27, 1876, at Glasgow, Ky, Mr. Pyle was the son of George and Sarah Coyle Pyle. He married Gillie Ann Smith Jan 30, 1898. He moved to Indiana in 1901. Mr. Pyle was a resident of Fountain county 40 years. He had lived in the New Liberty neighborhood the past 25 years. He was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church and Wallace Masonic Lodge. Surviving are the widow; two sons, Virgil Pyle of near HIllsboro; Ernest Pyle of Waynetown; two daughters, Mrs. Jewell Grimes of Wallace and Mrs. Nellie Stockdale of Danville, Ill.; two brothers, George Pyle of Crawfordsville and Luther Pyle of Danville, Ill; two half sisters Mrs. Ava Moore and Mrs. Electa Sutton of Judson; two grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro, followed by burial at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, Rev. C.W. Smith of Danville will be the officiating minister.
